The Waikato Winter Show will once more host the New Zealand Offroad Racing Shortcourse Championship at Claudlands, Hamilton. This one day championship will decide who the top offroad shortcourse racer is, in New Zealand, in 2010. Competitors from all over New Zeland are expected to race for this prestigious, national title in front of the large Waikato Winter Show crowd on 1 May 2010.

The 2008 NZ Offroad Racing Shortcourse Champs were held at the Winter Show and that title was taken by Auckland's Tony McCall. This year's competition is wide open, with local racer Paul Smith determined to take the Shorcourse title. Ahead of him in his quest are 50 other racers determined to get their hands on the trophy.

The race track for 2010 is once again on the Claudelands oval. Featuring multiple jumps, switch back corners, sweepers and straights.  This course will be fast and spectacular.

The 2009 Offroad Grand Prix delivered roll-overs, crashes and lots of air. The 2008 Shortcourse Champs saw a big field of cars scrapping for position over every inch of the track and 2010's racing will be no different.
